A beauty tip for the day

On a day when you are not setting forth from the home but you wish to retain a hint of glamour (I know Ronald always appreciates me touching up) try Vaseline (a wonderful ointment, so many uses) on your eyelids and eyelashes. It will appear as a soft sheen and emphasise the lashes.
WARNING do use sparingly; unlike my friend Veronica who was unable to unlock her eyelids for 48 hours. Silly gel.

Ronald and I are making our way to Waitrose ( a supermarket for ladies) on my return I will update you on the state of the summerhouse. Ronald and I have been at it like rabbits and progress has been made.

How exciting, I have some lovely ladies following my little ditties (blog is such an unfortunate word) I was so overcome that Ronald had to break out the bottle of Grey Goose I had put away for the grand opening party of the summerhouse. I hope you keep reading and tell your lovely lady friends about my aim in life to spread THE WONDER OF WOOL, WISDOM and LADYLIKE activities

I have a dear friend Veronica who unfortunately is now following my. Sorry I have to stop there; I really cannot call this a B.L.O.G. so I considered other options, unfortunately most words beginning with bl are not very pleasant, I,ll give you some examples :
Bladder, bland, blear, bleak, bleat, bleed, blemish, blight, bloat, blotch and blubber. After much diligence I have decided to call this my BLISS which means, happiness and blessedness, which I hope to spread with you all.
Anyway back to Veronica, I had hoped to keep my bliss a secret from her but she has with her hyposensitivity discovered it. I will attempt to conceal her comments but should any appear please do not read them as they will be personal conversations between us both.

A bit about myself and my new blog; such an unfortunate name.

I decided I would write to all you lovely ladies out there who are floundering in this crazy world we live in. Of course I have no objection to gentleman reading my little help-notes; indeed they may find them useful. I will share with you a soup-son ( I do speak a little French) of my life, my views, my interests and of course some wonderful advice to transform your lives into “The Celia Ladygarden” way of life. There isn’t anything a good quality, bamboo organicaly knitted twin-set and pearls can do for a lady. So if you do not posessess these wonderful garments, do rush out to your local yarn shop, purchase wool and needles and get clicking. Gentlemen this is your chance to shine, you may provide the pearls. However I do not recommend that you dive for them yourself until you have completed a ‘Freshwater Pearl Diving Course’

As you can see from my first and second post; I will also be sharing with you the progress of  my summerhouse. When this is finished, aIl my posts (barring freezing conditions, rain, sleet or snow) will be written from here. Please do not worry about privacy, Ronald is planning an erection by the end of the month (I’m so excited) as long as the weather is clement. So he will be ensconced in his new shed.

The summerhouse arrives

It all started with the wind; I’m a martyr to it. And then Ronald wanted somewhere to fiddle, so we decided to build a garage for Ronald and a Summerhouse for me.

Where does all the wind come from and why does it always  follow me? I thought the answer would be to build a summerhouse. Just a small one I always think a large one is too  vulgar for a lady. All sorts of things could go on with a large one whereas a small one is ideal for ladylike activities.
